The Lanberg NC-0900-WIE Wireless WiFi Adapter is an AX-class USB 2.0 external network card designed for users who need not only a fast, but also a long-distance and stable Wi-Fi connection. The device supports Wi-Fi Standard 6 (802.11 b/g/n/ac/ax), offering 287 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band and 574 Mbps in the 5 GHz band.
The NC-0900-WIE version is equipped with a powerful 5 dBi screw-on external antenna. This makes the card ideal where the computer or laptop is further from the router and the signal must overcome more structural obstacles.
ATTENTION: For the Wi-Fi 6 network card to function properly and to fully utilize the capabilities of this interface, make sure that the router you are using also supports Wi-Fi 6.

Dual-band operation of the Lanberg NC-0900-WIE network card in the 2.4-2.4835 GHz and 4905-5915 MHz bands (2.4 and 5 GHz) allows you to optimally adjust the WiFi connection to your current needs:
2.4 GHz – better range, higher penetration through walls and obstacles,
5 GHz – higher throughput, less interference, ideal bandwidth for streaming, gaming and intensive data transfer.

The Lanberg NC-0900-WIE model uses a single external, detachable antenna with a gain of 5 dBi, designed to operate in both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. The higher energy gain of the antenna translates into better range and a stronger signal, which is especially important when the computer is further away from the router or the signal has to pass through several walls. Beamforming technology allows the router to “direct” the signal precisely towards the network card, which improves connection stability, reduces speed fluctuations, and limits the impact of interference. This makes the NC-0900-WIE ideal for more demanding locations—on another floor, in a distant room, or in offices with multiple rooms.
